The San Francisco 49ers hit the practice field Wednesday afternoon, with the session scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m. PT. This marks the team's penultimate practice before they depart on Friday for their preseason opener in Houston. We don't have anybody in attendance for today's practice, but we do have our 49ers media Twitter list down below.
Things continue to roll along toward that preseason opener. The last few reports have had their fair share of positive comments, so we'll see if the generally good vibes continue today. Practice in generally does not provide nearly enough for us to know what's what. It gives us important information, but most of us are just waiting to see what the first preseason game brings up and down the depth chart. That depth chart is probably not going to be what we see by the final preseason game, but it will give us a little bit of context.
