The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice following their first preseason game of the year. The team returned to the Bay Area following the Texans game, and had Monday off from practice. The team returns to the practice field at 4:15 p.m. PT, and that will be preceded by an 11:15 a.m. PT media session.
NFL media rules require teams open practice and hold media sessions through the second game of the preseason. That means we will have media and practice sessions through Friday. Next week it reverts to less open coverage, so we'll take advantage of this stretch while we can. I have embedded the CSN Bay Area live stream above. It should air the press conferences, but if you have any issues with it, you can also go to the 49ers live stream page. The players come and go, so there might be 10 or 15 minute stretches with it saying, press conferences starting shortly.
I imagine we see Jim Tomsula to start off the week, followed by a variety of players. We probably get Eric Mangini and Geep Chryst Wednesday and Thursday, and then Jim Tomsula again to wrap up the week on Friday. If you cannot access video on your computer right now, you can also check out our 49ers media Twitter list for tweets from the press conferences.
