Fooch's update: 8/2 practice recap
The San Francisco 49ers are back for day two of training camp. The team held its first practice Saturday evening, and today they will be back on the field at 4:15 p.m. PT. They will be conducting most of their practices the next two weeks at 4:15 p.m. with the goal of giving the players a little more time between the morning and afternoon sessions. Some will go back to the hotel to relax a bit, but I imagine plenty will be studying their playbook, doing strength and conditioning work, or a variety of other things.
NN has a representative in attendance at today's practice, as Jennifer Lee Chan is there this weekend, and will be back next weekend. I have included her in the Twitter media list, so you can follow along in there. If you are on Twitter, you can follow her @jenniferleechan. Jennifer and the rest of the media will have recaps following practice. Given the late nature of practice, I'll be out at the end. James Brady will have a compilation of recap reports, and then we'll have Jennifer's recap ready to go tomorrow morning.
There will be plenty of updates from practice, and so, I have embedded the 49ers media list I have on Twitter. You can follow that below throughout practice. There will not be as much tweeting during the team drills as this practice is closed to the public.
The coaches have said there will be rotation in various aspects of the depth chart. Sunday's practice might give us an idea how much rotation there will be. Really the next few days will give us some insight into that as the 49ers work toward their preseason opener on August 15
