Good morning everyone, hope you all had a pleasant evening of watching totally meaningless football. I hope it was smooth-sailing and you didn't get angry once, in advance of all of us collectively overreacting and getting all worked about equally meaningless football tonight. The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys, a team which holds the distinction of being my least favorite team by a longshot.
I've talked at length about my ambivalence toward the 49ers' NFC West rivals. The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks don't do anything for me at all as far as inspiring actual feelings, given the lack of historical reference from both organizations. I'm more interested in the out-of-division rivalries. The Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and the worst of the bunch, the Cowboys. My grandpa made my sister's boyfriend exit the house on Christmas because he came in the house with a Cowboys hat on.
Crushing them, even in the preseason, would be swell. Onto your links for the day.
