Good morning, Faithful. There are a lot of interesting story lines to be on the look out for tomorrow during preseason game number three against the Broncos. With the uncertainty of Ahmad Brooks' status, probably the biggest issue now is whether or not the younger players will be able to step up and hold their own. Aaron Lynch was impressive last year, Corey Lemonier has been pretty inconsistent, and Harold and Rush are still very raw. So it should be interesting to see how this group responds to the loss of Brooks.
In addition to that group, I think the running back group will be an important one to watch. This group is much deeper than the OLB group, but what makes it interesting is the fact that Neither Reggie Bush or Kendall Hunter have played during preseason games yet. While Hunter has the second most experience behind Bush, I would think that he is on the bubble for making the roster. That alone makes me think he will get a fair amount of playing time tomorrow.
Besides position group battles, the other thing I am looking forward to seeing is how Jarryd Hayne follows up his first two performances. Every time the opposing team punts now, I feel as it is the most exciting moments of the game. Once again, hopefully some new talent steps up and the teams escape with no major injuries.
