The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped a 28-21 loss to the New England Patriots Thursday evening, with Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady in control. And yet, the game has quickly been overshadowed by the malfunction of the Steelers' headsets. They apparently were getting the Patriots radio broadcast at some point, and could not effectively communicate. Mike Tomlin was pissed and the whole thing was all the funnier given the Deflategate stuff this offseason.
The NFL released a statement explaining the situation:

The NFL controls headsets, so this was not a Patriots thing, but given their apparent shadiness over the years, it is much more fun assuming they were involved in some kind of nefarious plot.
More importantly however, the 49ers need to come up with a way to mess with the Steelers a little bit this week. I don't know what that would entail, but there has to be something!
