49ers vs. Vikings, MNF 2015: Score update, game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The San Francisco kick off their 2015 season on Monday Night Football, facing the Minnesota at Levi's Stadium. We take a look at pertinent details related to the game, as well as provide an open thread for discussion.

It's football time! The San Francisco 49ers return to regular season action tonight, for the first time since winning their season finale last December. They host the Minnesota Vikings at Levi's Stadium on Monday Night Football. The game is the latter half of the annual Week 1 MNF double-header, and it kicks off at 7:20 p.m. PT on ESPN. The game will be called by Chris Berman and Trent Dilfer, with Lindsay Czarniak on the sideline.

So much has changed since the last time the 49ers took the field for a regular season game. We are looking at an almost entirely new coaching staff and a host of new players in all three phases of the game. There has been an insane amount of speculation about this team, with people positive they know what will happen. In reality, none of us can say with absolute certainty how this will all shake out. The good news is we finally get some answers in tonight's game!

We'll have a few threads throughout the course of the game, and a recap immediately after. One thing I have added to the threads this year is the 49ers media Twitter list. If you cannot watch the game, you can follow some of the updates in there.

We'll have plenty to break down after the game, but for now, here's your first game thread. Along with it is a rundown of pertinent information related to the game.
