Finally we can say it's opening night for the 49ers 2015 season. I'm as excited yet as confused as I was right before the 2011 season. Jim Tomsula's season comes with high hopes as a new regime, but it also comes with a lot of uncertainty on what shape or form this patched up roster will take. Personally I'm very optimistic about how all the new bodies will perform, particularly on special teams where we have what looks to be the most talented return crew in the last five years.
From what I've read, most predict the 49ers to have anywhere from 5 to 8 wins this year. I'd be happy with a 10-6 season and a shot at the playoffs. No matter what happens, Niners football is officially back so let's start the season with a big W against these Minnesota Vikings!
As an aside, I'd like to note that going forward, the links for the Nuggets will no longer open in a new tab. Turns out, most people don't like that so if you're used to that, and you want to open in a new tab or window, right click on the link or use whatever shortcut works for your operating system. That's been your boring site update for the day. (Note, there is a strong chance that muscle memory will mean I forget this on some links—the big thing here is that we're phasing that out going forward). Onto your links!
