49ers-Vikings: Local TV channel, and channel if Eagles-Falcons runs late

The 49ers and Vikings play the late MNF game. Here are TV channel details on how to watch the game locally, and also how to watch it if Eagles-Falcons runs late.

The San Francisco 49ers host the Minnesota Vikings this evening in the second half of the annual Monday Night Football doubleheader. The game will broadcast on ESPN nationally, and the local CBS station in the Bay Area. The game is currently scheduled for a 7:20 p.m. PT kickoff.

There is a chance the 49ers game could kick off late. The Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons kick off the first half of the double-header at 3:55 p.m. PT. Primetime games seem to run a little longer with commercial breaks, so it is possible Eagles-Falcons could bleed over into the 49ers game.

The 49ers and Vikings will delay the game a few minutes if needed, but if the delay goes too long, the game will start on ESPN2, according to Matt Barrows. The local CBS feed will have the whole game, but if you are elsewhere in the country, keep that in mind when the game starts. ESPN will tell you as well, but here's a heads-up just in case.
