The San Francisco 49ers wrap up their practice week on Friday morning, and will then travel to Pittsburgh in the afternoon. The early 10:00 a.m. PT kickoff on Sunday means the team needs to get into east coast time as much as possible in the short period they have. It will be a tough slog out of the gates, but it's certainly not like this schedule came out of nowhere.
The team's practice week wraps up with a pair of press conferences. Head coach Jim Tomsula will address the media at 10:30 a.m. That will be followed by practice at 11:05. After practice, Eric Mangini will address the media, and that will be followed by media availability in the locker room.
