49ers-Steelers picks and predictions: National opinions a bit mixed

The San Francisco 49ers face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2, and opinions are mixed on this. We run down various predictions for the game.

We're back for Week 2 of the 2015 NFL season! The Denver Broncos pulled out a big road win on Thursday, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on a late touchdown. That was just appetizer as the 49ers are part of the Sunday main course. The 49ers kick off against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 10:00 a.m. PT at Heinz Field.

Once again, it is time for more predictions for tonight's game. I posted the Week 2 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. I could see this game getting a little crazy at times. I'm going to go with the 49ers once again, and I'll say something like 27-23. If I change that for the prediction contest, I'll update it in here.

We're also back once again with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at Behind The Steel Curtain are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking.

I also have listed out a handful of picks from around the national media. Opinions are a bit more mixed than I expected. The 49ers head into Pittsburgh as 5.5-point underdogs, but it would appear the Monday win gives people a bit more confidence in the 49ers. Not entirely shocking, but a little bit of a surprise heading on the road.

This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
