The second week of the 2015 NFL season comes to a close Monday evening as the Indianapolis Colts host the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT, and airs on ESPN. Jon Gruden and Mike Tirico have the call. There is only one MNF game this week, so thankfully, no Chris Berman and Trent Dilfer.
The 49ers face the AFC North this season, so there is nothing from a competitive standpoint to watch. However, the Frank Gore watch party will be alive and well for 49ers fans. Gore and the Colts struggled in their opener, losing 27-14 to the Buffalo Bills. Gore finished the game with 31 rushing yards on eight carries. The Colts will look to bounce back at home in Week 2, and hopefully get Gore going. He currently stands 132 yards behind O.J. Simpson for No. 19 on the all-time rushing leaderboard. I know I'll be pulling for Gore tonight.
