Good morning everyone. Hope you enjoyed watching that NFC East nightmare on Thursday Night Football. I actually think the New York Giants will wind up winning that division handily, despite an 0-2 start to the season, and think both Washington and Philadelphia are kind of laughing stocks at this point. If either of those two teams does anything remarkable this season (other than fumble a touchdown into a touchback, of course) I'll be shocked. What Chip Kelly has done to the Eagles is an incredible, incredible thing.
It's like if the 49ers lost all the players they did this season, but if Jed York had done it all himself. Of course, in reality, the 49ers can't be blamed for the majority of their significant losses this offseason. They can be blamed, however, for the horrible showing against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 and I think all of us are a little nervous about a game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.
Personally, I think the Cardinals are the team to beat in the NFC West this year and if the 49ers can take it to them in this game, they'll be in great shape. I'm weirdly confident, but I always get that way before a game and you shouldn't trust me. Onto the links, everyone! (Again, links will no longer open in new windows. Keep that in mind.)
