The San Francisco 49ers wrap up their 2015 preseason schedule on Thursday, facing the San Diego Chargers at Levi's Stadium. We take a look at pertinent details related to the game, as well as provide an open thread for discussion.

We've just about made it! The San Francisco 49ers face the San Diego Chargers in their preseason finale, and that means real football is just over a week away. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. PT, and we'll have a few threads throughout. One thing I have added to the threads this preseason is the 49ers media Twitter list. If you cannot watch the game, you can follow some of the updates in there.

Plenty of starters will sit out this final preseason game, so this game provides the reserves with one last chance to impress the front office. We'll see plenty of Blaine Gabbert and Dylan Thompson, with the latter looking to secure a spot on the practice squad. We know the team will be sitting Torrey Smith, Darnell Dockett, Vance McDonald and Tramaine Brock. We'll soon find out who else gets a veteran's preference, and who gets a whole lot of snaps.

We'll have plenty to break down after the game, but for now, here's your first game thread. Along with it is a rundown of pertinent information related to the game.
