The San Francisco 49ers offense has struggled much of this preseason, but it is finishing strong with some really impressive passing work. Dylan Thompson threw his second touchdown of the game, connecting with former college teammate Busta Anderson in the fourth quarter. We've got some video below, and it is a great play. Thompson gets the ball in a near perfect location, and then Anderson turns and goes up for it.
It is going to make things interesting on Friday and Saturday as the 49ers try and figure out their final roster cuts. Anderson dealt with injuries during his college career, hurting his draft stock. But he has shown some things in the preseason. Could the 49ers actually slip him through waivers to the practice squad? I have a hunch someone would claim him off waivers. Do you think Anderson makes the roster in 2015? Or will we see him elsewhere in the near future?
