Fooch's update: Here are the final cuts and the 53-man roster

The San Francisco 49ers made their first six roster moves on Friday to get from 75 players to 69 players. They have 16 more to make as they cut down to the 53-man roster limit. One of the moves will include placing Jerome Simpson on the Reserve/Suspended list, and that leaves 15 cuts and/or trades to be made. The easiest move would probably just be trading the 15 guys for more draft picks, right? How about having half the picks in the seventh round next year?

The 49ers will release WR DiAndre Campbell, source said, but practice squad is looking like a possibility.

We had an open thread for roster cuts on Friday, and since the 49ers got busy early, I decided we should have a new thread today. I imagine some of the moves will leak out, and at some point the 49ers will announce the full list of moves. They have until 1 p.m. PT, but with no practice scheduled, I would not be surprised if we hear the news sooner than that.

As the 49ers prepare for these final cuts, I have posted the full roster below, including previous cuts. Below that is the 49ers media Twitter list to track updates as they come in. I'll drop in updates in the post as well. Maybe we see some trades, maybe we see some surprising releases. Whatever happens, we'll be here tracking it. I am going to leave this pinned at the top of the site, so if you see any rumors, drop them in. For example, Aaron Wilson has a lot of good sources and reports on transactions. He is not in the 49ers media Twitter list, so if you see something from him, drop it in here.
