Just in time for the start of the regular season, the update to 49ers Almanac 2015 is now available! Because the update came later than expected, I've made it available at 49ersalmanac.com for 50% of the original cost, now only $4.99. Of course, if you've already purchased the Almanac, you're good to go. You should've received an email with a new download link for the updated version.
The update includes a completely new feature on Jim Tomsula, evaluating his prospects for the coming season. I've also made relevant updates to the original chapters now that the 53-man roster has been finalized. In all, there's over 150 pages of in-depth 49ers content to get you ready for 2015. You can check out the complete table of contents at the bottom of this post.
If you're not sold, you can check out samples of the Almanac that have been posted here on Niners Nation at no cost. The full feature on how Mangini is shaping the 49ers' defense in the image of a division rival can be found here, and an excerpt of the biggest questions facing San Francisco's defense can be found here.
For those holding out for a printed copy, I'm very sorry, but I had to scrap it. The format required to make the book available for print was completely different than how I had built it originally, and unfortunately I was unable to find an easy way to convert it. It would've required about an extra week's worth of work to make it happen and I simply didn't have the time. Lesson learned, and now that I've gone through this process once, I should be able to avoid those sort of unexpected hiccups next year.
