Good morning everyone. I hope the start of your New Year is an excellent one. Me, I worked on the news desk until 1 a.m. and then I ate pizza while watching reruns of Justified until 4 a.m. In other words, my New Year is off to an amazing start and I can't wait to see what happens next.
People are getting fired around the league now and I tend to believe it's going to happen in Santa Clara as well. I don't think the San Francisco 49ers are ready to fire Jim Tomsula by any means, but I would be shocked if Geep Chryst makes it past Monday, to be honest with you.
The 49ers will not be participating in the postseason, so Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams will be the last of the season. I don't care if they win or lose, I honestly just want to see some young players play well and I'd love for this team that I (begrudgingly) love entertain me before they go away for several months.
Go Niners. Onto your links.
