The San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns interviewed Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson Sunday, but now there might be some competition. Mike Silver is reporting the New York Giants are expected to request permission to interview Jackson.
I'm told the Giants are expected to request permission to talk to Hue Jackson tomorrow. But Browns, Niners may decide on 1st choice by then.

This all comes as Kyle McLorg is reporting a deal is done between Jackson and the 49ers.
A source tells me Hue Jackson and the 49ers are a done deal.

Kyle has nailed some big stories, so I don't take his reports lightly. That being said, this situation seems to be relatively fluid. Matt Maiocco and Jason Cole both said no deal was done, and Mike Silver was adamant nothing was done. Given how this situation is developing, I would hope the 49ers get this done before the Giants get an interview. Of course, this could also be Mike Silver helping his buddy boost his leverage, but who knows!
