Tom Coughlin met with the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, and when his interview wrapped, it appears all the beat writers were on a group text from someone. Coughlin's interview wrapped up just before 9 p.m. ET.
At this point, there are no new interviews on the horizon. If the 49ers are interested in any of the first run of candidates, a second interview would seemingly be on the horizon. The NFL owners meetings are likely to wrap up Thursday morning now that the LA relocation issue has been put to bed for now. Jed York and John York can get back to working with Trent Baalke on this coaching search.
Hue Jackson is set to travel to New York Wednesday evening for a Thursday interview with the Giants. Other than that, there does not appear to be anything on the horizon. Hopefully Thursday brings some new revelations to get us through the week.
