Good morning everyone! I am once again back to giving you your Saturday Morning nuggets. Hope everyone is having a good start to 2016 and their resolutions (if any) are still going strong.

So we have a new coach. I may go a bit more into depth on exactly how I'm approaching this, but at first glance, it's not Jim Tomsula. GOOD! The majority of fans were calling for Tomsula's head, and whether he was fired due to Kelly's availability or his own incompetence, only the front office knows for sure. If I'm asking for one coach to be fired, especially one as bad as Tomsula, I can't be mad when they go hire someone who at the very least has coaching experience. Sure, Kelly did some dumb roster decisions, and he had a bad year in Philly this season, but he went 10-6 before that. Twice.

Now if this actually works out, that's left to be determined. Kelly doesn't have say in the roster--that's Trent Baalke making all the decisions there and that's how it should be. We got ourselves a football coach and an out from Jim Tomsula. I can't sit and criticize the front office for every little thing, especially when all I wanted was ANY coach to replace what we had. So, I'll go to it with an open mind. And this is coming from someone whose entire family is from Oregon and roots for the Beavers.
