The second half of next week's NFC Championship Game matchup will be determined bright and early Sunday morning. For the second straight week, the Seattle Seahawks get to play the early game in the 2016 NFL playoffs. They have traveled east to Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers. The game kicks off at 10:05 a.m. PT on FOX. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will have the call in the announcer's booth.
The Seahawks and Panthers know each other quite well the last year and a half. The Panthers won at Seattle earlier this season, while last year, the Seahawks won both matchups, including a playoff matchup. The Panthers will look to complete their own two-game, and are a 2.5-point favorite to do so.
The Panthers had a crack at an undefeated record heading into the playoffs, but came up short. They lost in Week 16 to the Atlanta Falcons, but bounced back in Week 17 to crush the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Seahawks stumbled early, but won eight of their final ten to emerge with the final playoff berth. Carolina edged them out 27-23 back in Week 6.
