I've never felt like the Arizona Cardinals have done enough to really engage in the rivalry as a San Francisco 49ers fan. I felt the same way about the Seattle Seahawks until recent years, and I've only ever felt rivalry heat with the Los Angeles Rams -- it still feels weird to type that. I don't want the Cardinals to beat the 49ers, obviously, but I really do like Carson Palmer and the Cardinals sure are a fun team to watch.
That's especially so after Saturday's game against the Green Bay Packers, a team I dislike. Good lord, that game was ridiculous. The officiating was obviously horrendous, but man that game was exciting. Watching Aaron Rodgers dictate the pace of the defense is a sight to see, the Hail Mary was ridiculous, but man ... that ending was exciting.
Larry Fitzgerald is ridiculous, and despite what a pain he's been for the 49ers over the course of his career, I think you'd have to be a monster to dislike Fitzgerald. I hope he gets a Super Bowl ring.
Onto your links for the day!
