49ers-Rams picks and predictions: Mixed opinions on this one

The San Francisco 49ers close out the 2015 season at home against the St. Louis Rams in Week 17. We run down various predictions for the game.

We're back for the final week of the 2015 NFL regular season, which means another look at San Francisco 49ers predictions. The team wraps up its season at home, facing the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. The game kicks off at 1:25 p.m. PT on CBS.

Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 17 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. The 49ers are a 3.5-point underdog at home against the Rams. San Francisco has generally played better at home than on the road. They were thumped by the Rams in St. Louis, with Todd Gurley putting together a pretty big effort against them. Gurley is dealing with a foot injury this week, and his status is not entirely clear. If he is unable to play, it will be on Case Keenum to put together the offensive effort for the Rams. I think the 49ers are able to cover this one, in what will likely be a fairly low scoring game.

We're back with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at Turf Show Times are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking. We've added something new this week in the widget, where you can sign up and track your results.

We have a handful of picks from around the national media, and a lot of them are picking the 49ers this week. And naturally, the good folks of the 49ers.com staff are back all picking the 49ers to beat the Rams. They remain good employees!

This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
