The Seattle Seahawks dropped a tough one to the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago, and it was followed by Cam Newton grabbing a 12th Man flag and throwing it to the ground. That was followed shortly after by an indignant Seahawks fan calling out Newton for his lack of class.
It would seem this is going to be a long offseason for some Seahawks fans. Another fan is pissed off at Cam Newton's behavior, and is not staying quiet! Someone posted a petition on change.org to ban Cam from CenturyLink Field. Obviously this will never happen, but it is still amusing to consider how angry people are at this point.
It's going to be an interesting two weeks in the lead up to the Super Bowl. Newton is a highly talented, entertaining football player, and it is not surprising that some folks decide to take issue with him. It is going to be two weeks of some seriously hot takes about Cam Newton. It is mostly absurd garbage, and there will be plenty of it.
