Good morning! The San Francisco 49ers formally announced their coaching staff Wednesday afternoon, and there were no surprises. We had heard most of the names already, and the only additions to the list were lower level assistants. We've got a poll going right now, and as of late last night, the bulk of the 1-to-10 curve was between 5 and 7. Plenty of people are annoyed with some of the hirings, but I think there is also a lot of wait and see.
The other notable news of the day was the selection of the Pro Bowl teams. The full roster of players was set earlier this month, but on Wednesday the team captains divvied up the players between two teams. Joe Staley is playing on Jerry Rice's roster, while NaVorro Bowman is playing on Michael Irvin's roster. So, we're left to root in some ways for a Cowboys player! Now we get to wait and see if Bowman and Staley have any interaction during Sunday's game.
