49ers-Rams inactives

The San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams each released their Week 17 inactive reports, and there are not many surprises. Quinton Dial was ruled out on Friday, while Jaquiski Tartt was listed as doubtful. Tartt technically could have played, but doubtful players almost never play. That means Jimmie Ward will likely get the start in his place. Keith Reaser potentially will get the nickel back work, but we'll see when the defense takes the field.

On the Rams side, Todd Gurley was listed as doubtful, so it is not surprise he is inactive today. Tre Mason will get the start in his place. He will get plenty of work, but this puts a bit more of the workload on the arm of quarterback Case Keenum. He has played a little better than Nick Foles at time this year, but it will be interesting to see if the 49ers stack bring more pressure to get Keenum uncomfortable.

49ers inactives: WR DeAndrew White, S Jaquiski Tartt, OG Brandon Thomas, OL Marcus Martin, TE Je'Ron Hamm, DT Quinton Dial, OLB Corey Lemonier

Rams inactives: RB Todd Gurley, QB Sean Mannion, CB Troy Hill, DT Louis Trinca-Pasat, OL Andrew Donnal, OL Brian Folkerts, OT Isaiah Battle.
