Former (soon-to-be again?) San Francisco 49ers right tackle Anthony Davis had some tweets Friday evening after Matt Maiocco reported the 49ers had met with former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly. It was a rather interesting series of tweets. At first it was a little odd, but Davis made his feelings pretty clear.
He sent out his first tweet at 8:35 p.m. PT. He subsequently deleted it, but a few people got a screenshot of the tweet. Here is what he said:
@NinersNation @MaioccoCSN @mattbarrows LOL!!! Anthony Davis tweeted this but now it's gone from his timeline pic.twitter.com/poI5q2o6Lx

He then followed that up with three tweets. The first was a poll asking if the 49ers would hire Chip Kelly. The next two were in response to someone asking him if he would play for Chip Kelly. The latter made an interesting, but not surprising point about his former head coaches, Jim Harbaugh and Greg Schiano. It's not exactly earth-shattering stuff, but it's interesting nonetheless. I'm not sure if he thought his first tweet did not sufficiently express his feelings or what, and thus explained things further. Who really knows.
I played for Greg Schiano and Jim Harbaugh, I can play for anyone. https://t.co/fbXVcR0OcE

One is a good Coach and one is a Great coach, both assholes. They may feel the same about me, that's fair. Either way, we won together.
