The San Francisco 49ers have a mini bye week after playing on Thursday night and the players are off until Tuesday. As a result, there are no official participation reports from the 49ers and no news regarding injuries incurred during the game. Two players left the field on a cart, one of them being CB Chris Davis. He was later seen leaving the locker room with a knee brace and a single crutch.
On Sunday evening ESPN NFL insider Adam Caplan tweeted a report about Davis’ injury:
On #49ers CB/KR Chris Davis (knee): early word is "not looking good" on his injury, source said. More will be known in coming days.

Davis will likely be having an MRI in the next day or two but the 49ers officially don’t have to report anything until Wednesday unless they want to, or it’s necessary to make a roster move. It’s important to note that even when NaVorro Bowman went on season ending IR, they did not make an official announcement until a six hours before Thursday’s game.
With Davis and Jimmie Ward out (quad) expect to see a lot of Keith Reaser and Rashard Robinson on the field in Buffalo. There are no updates on Ward but his lack of even limited participation in practice makes the situation start to look worse than originally thought. The secondary is getting thin and the 49ers may have to look on the open market for a free agent or elevate 7th round pick CB Prince Charles Iworah from Western Kentucky who is currently on the practice squad.
