The San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills have submitted their inactives, and the 49ers will be without safety Jaquiski Tartt. He suffered a quadricep injury in Week 5, and was limited in practice all week. He is frequently the first defensive back on the field, providing some thump in the run game. There is no word yet on what the plan will be with regard to the extra safety look. We might see less of that look, or maybe Marcus Cromartie sees some defensive playing time.
The good news is that DeForest Buckner, Glenn Dorsey, and Ahmad Brooks are all active. All three were listed as questionable heading into the game after being limited all week. Also, Vance McDonald is active after missing a couple weeks with a hip injury. He’ll likely slot back in as the No. 1 tight end, with Garrett Celek getting plenty of work as well.
