Week 6 comes to a close Monday evening with an NFC West squad on display in an inter-conference matchup. The 2-3 Arizona Cardinals face off against the struggling 1-4 New York Jets.
The Cardinals welcome back Carson Palmer, who missed the 49ers game ten days ago with a concussion. Drew Stanton and the Cardinals beat the 49ers, but they’ll be happy to have Palmer back in the saddle. The Cardinals need a win to keep pace with Seattle, who is sitting pretty at 4-1. The Rams lost their second straight to drop to 3-3 on the season.
The Jets secondary is a mess, and their quarterback situation has been bad. Ryan Fitzpatrick clearly peaked last season, and things are looking bad right now offense. I don’t think the Jets will finish 1-15, but they are going to lose a lot of games this season.
I went with the Cardinals covering -7.5 in my Saturday picks. I am rooting for the Jets from a Draft perspective, but I think the Cardinals are going to thump them.
