The San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released their Week 7 inactives, and wide receiver Torrey Smith and cornerback Rashard Robinson are active for the game!
Smith suffered a back injury this week, likely during the Wednesday practice session. He was limited on Thursday and Friday, and listed as questionable on the final injury report. Colin Kaepernick connected with him on a big touchdown, while over- and under-throwing him on a couple other throws. We’ll see if another week brings improvement in that regard.
Robinson suffered a concussion last week, and missed practice on Wednesday. He was listed as limited on Thursday and Friday, and his active status means his concussion symptoms did not return. He and Jimmie Ward are both active, so we will get to see how the 49ers use them both in light of Robinson’s emergence the past few weeks.
