NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills

The San Francisco 49ers head into the bye week with one of the worst records in the league and not much hope to turn that around. They have one of the worst defenses and have allowed the most rushing yards to opposing teams. Their offense is not any better. They gain the least amount of yards per game and have the lowest yards per play in the NFL.

The 49ers are rumored to be discussing trades that could send Joe Staley and Torrey Smith away. The 49ers are in full rebuild mode and they are looking to collect draft picks. Teams are likely inquiring about the players that they have interest in and both players have proven themselves in the NFL. It makes sense that the 49ers would listen to offers since they will need the picks to reload their roster.

After the bye week, the 49ers take on New Orleans Saints at Levi’s Stadium. The coaching staff will have to figure out something to get the team off this 6 game losing streak. Colin will likely be the starter again and hopefully a week of preparation will help him in the next game.
