The San Francisco 49ers are already getting set to face the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, but in the meantime, Monday Night Football is back to wrap up Week 4. The Minnesota Vikings host the New York Giants, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. PT on ESPN. The Vikings are a 4.5-point favorite, and the point total is set at 42.5.
The Vikings are one of the NFL’s big surprises this year. They are 3-0, but the surprise is that they did it after losing Teddy Bridgewater before the season started, and then lost Adrian Peterson and Matt Kalil. They beat Tennesse and Carolina on the road, and Green Bay at home, and lead the Packers by a game in the NFC North.
The Giants are 2-1 after a Week 3 loss to Washington. New York won at Dallas and at home against New Orleans the first two weeks. Wins and wins, but the Vikings get a little bit more in terms of style points.
People are betting on the Vikings in this one. I am hesitant on them, but I did pick them on Saturday, so I’ll stick with them. That being said, I would consider fading that pick.
