Good morning! It’s football Sunday, and the San Francisco 49ers will not be playing. The bye week wraps up for them today, with the players returning on Monday for the first practice of Week 9.
In the meantime, we get to enjoy a Sunday of football relatively stress free. Well, fantasy football and gambling might keep some of us at least a little stressed, but we don’t have to concern ourselves with whether or not the 49ers will win or lose today.
What are your plans for today’s football action? Going to watch football all day and relax, or going to take advantage of a 49ers day off and do something else? I’ll be watching the Washington game (London vs. Bengals) early out here. Then it’s Red Zone channel at 10 a.m. PT. Since there are only two games in the late slot, I might use that time to do something else entirely. We’re re-modeling our kitchen, so it’d be nice to get outside at some point. I’ve spent the past week at home keeping an eye on the cat while the contractors do their stuff. A little fresh air would probably be good!
It’s a quiet day for links, but here are a few.
