The San Francisco 49ers face the Buffalo Bills in Week 6, coming off ten days of rest after Thursday Night Football. The Bills are currently facing the Los Angeles Rams in Southern California. Once that game ends, we will get formal lines from various sportsbooks. In the meantime, the Westgate Superbook has offered look-ahead lines for Week 6. The Bills are listed as a touchdown favorite for the time being.
The Bills are 2-2 and on a bit of a role. They lost their first two games at the Ravens and at home against the Jets. They followed that up with a huge 33-18 home win over the Arizona Cardinals, and then a stunning 16-0 shutout on the road against the New England Patriots.
The Bills are a tough team to figure out. They’ve clearly got talent, and even though the Patriots were without Tom Brady, a road team shutout in Foxboro had never happened to the Belichick-coached Patriots. I don’t think the Bills will end up in the playoffs, but they are going to be a tough team much of the rest of the season.
The official lines for this game will arrive later this afternoon after the Bills-Rams game is a wrap. We’ll see if the next couple hours has any impact on this look-ahead line.
