Week 11 NFL power rankings: The 49ers get a slight bump, but everyone one down there stinks.

We break down the top and bottom of the NFL in our Week 11 power rankings. There are some changes, but the top few and bottom few remain bunched together.

The NFL wrapped up Week 10, and we’re back with our Week 11 power rankings. The week concluded with the New York Giants winning a back-and-forth affair over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Giants improved to 6-3, and are right in the thick of the NFC playoff race. The Bengals dropped to 3-5-1, but still are only 1.5 games back of the Steelers in a wide open AFC North race.

I decided to give the 49ers a slight bump in my power rankings. I was tempted to leave them at the bottom the rest of the way, but a respectable showing against Arizona, coupled with the Browns ugly loss to Baltimore has me briefly changing my mind. In reality, both teams are atrocious, so you could flip a coin to some extent. Teams like the Bears, Jaguars, and Jets are right there in the mix as well. I think the Browns and 49ers are the two clear worst teams, but others will give them a run for their money on a weekly basis.

I made some changes to the top of my power rankings. The Seahawks went into Foxboro and knocked off the Patriots on Sunday Night Football. I wasn’t quite sure where to drop the Patriots and where to bump the Seahawks. And so, suddenly the Cowboys and Raiders top things. I don’t know who is the best team in the NFL right now, but Dallas and Oakland are currently looking like the two best teams. I think the top four or so teams are bunched close together, with the Chiefs and Broncos just a notch below. The final seven weeks of the season and the playoffs should be pretty exciting.

Here are my full Week 11 NFL power rankings.
