The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their practice week on Friday with a walk through. The final practice participation report was an estimation due to the lack of a full practice, but there are no surprises in the accompanying final injury report.
Running back Carlos Hyde is officially questionable for Week 9. He was listed as limited all week, and wore a non-contact jersey in all the practices. He told the media on Thursday that he is dealing with a sprained AC joint, and does not know if he will be able to go on Sunday. If he does not play, DuJuan Harris, Mike Davis, and Shaun Draughn would likely all get carries. Harris seems most likely to get the start coming off a solid Week 7 performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cornerback Rashard Robinson and outside linebacker Aaron Lynch have been formally ruled out for the game. They sat out practice all week with a knee injury and an ankle injury, respectively. Keith Reaser will get more work with Robinson out, while Eli Harold and Tank Carradine would seemingly both see more work with Lynch out.
Inside linebacker Nick Bellore and defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey were both upgraded from limited to full participants for Friday’s practice. Again, it was an estimation since it was a walkthrough practice. But for the time being, both would seem to be in good shape to go on Sunday against the Saints.
