49ers practice report: Getting ready for the cold weather

We’ve got some video from practice, along with the participation report.

The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their third practice of Week 13, as they continue preparations for the Chicago Bears. They practiced on Tuesday, but did not have to provide an injury report for that day. Thursday marks their second report, and we will get a third one on Friday, although it will be simulated as the team usually does a walkthrough on Friday.

The team will head off for Chicago after that, and it’s safe to say they’ll be in for a slight change in weather. The team is in Orlando this week, following their trip to South Florida for Week 12. The weather in Orlando right now (7:20 p.m. ET) is 70, and the low tonight is expected to be 59. Right now in Chicago, it is 39 degrees and cloudy with no precipitation. For a more pertinent comparison, on Sunday, they are expecting a high of 37 and a low of 32, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. The worst weather the 49ers have played in thus far is when it rained at Levi’s Stadium. it’s going to be interesting to see how the warm weather 49ers react to this cold weather.

The 49ers passed along some video from today’s practice. I’ve embedded that below the injury report. The only change to the injury report is Quinton Patton upgraded from DNP to limited.
