Week 14 NFL TV schedule: Browns, Jaguars, Frank Gore to watch

We break down the AM schedule of games in Week 14. It includes some big games with draft implications, and some 49ers history.

The San Francisco 49ers get going this afternoon at 1:05 p.m. PT on CBS. In the meantime, the AM schedule of NFL games includes some big matchups for 49ers fans.

The most important game has the Browns hosting the Bengals. Cleveland is winless and this game marks their best chance of winning one of their final four games. The Bengals are dealing with numerous injuries, and Cleveland will start Robert Griffin III for the first time since Week 1. An upset is unlikely, but it’s not entirely out of the realm of the possible.

The Jaguars host the Vikings, and this could prove just as important as the Browns game. The 49ers face the Jets in a very winnable game. The Jaguars are a game back of the 49ers, so getting them a win to maintain some cushion would be nice.

From a non-draft perspective, Texans-Colts gives us another chance to enjoy Frank Gore in action. Gore moved into eighth place on the all-time rushing leaderboard, and while it is unlikely he moves past Eric Dickerson this season for No. 7, Gore is still pushing for 1,000 yards. Gore has 749 yards, which means he needs to average just under 63 yards per game the final four games to reach the mark. If Gore did, the 33-year old running back would be the oldest running back to reach 1,000 yards since John Riggins did it at the age of 35 back in 1984.

Here’s the full schedule of 10:00 a.m. games.
