49ers-Seahawks injury report: Marcus Martin, Andrew Tiller downgraded

Bad news for a 49ers offensive line that is falling apart with injuries.

The San Francisco 49ers released their Thursday practice participation report, and the offensive line features some bad news. The team downgraded Marcus Martin and Andrew Tiller from Limited on Wednesday, to DNPs on Thursday.

Both are dealing with ankle injuries. Martin was inactive on Saturday against the Rams, while Tiller played the whole game. Chip Kelly had his final press conference of the week before practice, so barring any sort of IR move, we will not get a significant update on either player before Sunday. The 49ers will release a practice participation report for Friday, but the team conducts a walkthrough, so it is a projected report, not an actual one.

Joe Staley continued with limited practice. Thursday is the last big session before Sunday’s game, with walkthroughs the rest of the way. If he made it through that OK, he will likely play on Sunday. We will likely be seeing further OL shuffle. If Tiller and Martin both cannot play, we could very well see Beadles shift back to left guard, and Alex Balducci get the start at center. We won’t know for certain until Sunday.
