49ers-Seahawks injury report: Andrew Tiller, Marcus Martin both out

We break down the latest news on the 49ers final injury report.

The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report for Week 17, and the offensive line shuffle continues. The team is expected to have Joe Staley back at left tackle, but they will be without center Marcus Martin and left guard Andrew Tiller. Both were ruled out with ankle injuries.

Martin missed last week with his ankle injury, while Tiller suffered his injury last Saturday. Martin’s absence resulted in Zane Beadles moving over to center in Week 16. He spent most of the year at left guard, but moved to left tackle when Staley hurt his hamstring. He moved over to center after Martin left the game in Week 15.

Tiller’s absence means either Alex Balducci or Andrew Gardner will likely start at left guard. One option is for Beadles to move back to left guard, and Balducci moves in at center. However, given the trust the team seems to have in Beadles, I expect we see Beadles at center once again.

Staley is listed as questionable with his hamstring. After two weeks of not practicing, he got three days of limited work this week. Given that he was listed as limited and not a DNP on Friday, it suggests he is good to go for Sunday.

There was one particularly notable addition to the report. Cornerback Rashard Robinson was not on the injury report Wednesday or Thursday, but he was listed as limited on Friday with a hamstring injury. The team’s final major practice was Thursday, while Friday was a walkthrough. That likely means the injury happened Thursday afternoon. We’ll see what inactives bring on Sunday.
