Panthers vs. Seahawks, SNF: Game time, TV schedule, online streaming, announcers, odds

Week 13 Sunday Night Football is an NFC matchup with one division leader, and one team trying to stay alive. We break down Panthers-Seahawks.

We’re back for another week of Sunday Night Football, and Week 13 brings a chance to cheer against the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers sort of rival hosts a Carolina Panthers team that sits at 4-7, but can climb to within two games of first place in the NFC South with a win. The game airs on Sunday Night Football, and kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT, with Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya on the call.

We are all going to be rooting for a Seahawks loss. Aside from enjoying the tasty tears of Seattle fans, a loss helps the 49ers strength of schedule. The 49ers have Seattle twice on their schedule, and Carolina once. A Seahawks loss counts for two losses, while a Panthers loss would only count for one loss. The 49ers are in good shape to secure the No. 2 pick, but SOS help is always welcome. And a Seahawks loss is always good.

Seattle is a 7.5-point favorite, and I think we see them bounce back after last week’s loss in Tampa Bay. They are generally healthy at this point. Their offensive line is a mess, but they can likely overcome that against a Carolina squad having to travel west three time zones for a late game.
