The NFL wrapped up Week 13 with the Indianapolis Colts pummeling the New York Jets. I honestly thought New York would give Indy a fight, but it was not even close. The Colts jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back. The Jets benched Ryan Fitzpatrick and don’t seem to have any idea what they’re doing. Next week against the San Francisco 49ers is going to one heck of an awful game.
The 49ers lost again, and it was tempting to drop them to No. 32. But the Browns remain winless, and I see no reason to remove a winless team from the bottom of my power rankings. The Bears managed a win over the 49ers and get a slight bump, but otherwise, the bottom of the rankings are mostly the same.
The top six in my power rankings remain the same. The Dallas Cowboys became the first team to clinch a playoff berth, and can clinch the NFC East next week with a win over the New York Giants. The Oakland Raiders remain one spot behind them, following a pretty thrilling win over the Buffalo Bills. I don’t see how anybody can’t enjoy watching the Raiders right now. They face the Kansas City Chiefs this Thursday in a monster matchup for AFC West superiority. A Chiefs win moves the two teams into a tie, and KC would hold the season sweep tiebreaker. A Raiders win moves Oakland two games up with three to go.
Here are my full Week 14 power rankings.
