The San Francisco 49ers host the New York Jets on CBS this Sunday, with kickoff set for 1:05 p.m. PT. The game is on CBS and not FOX because the road team is from the AFC. If the game was in New Jersey, it would be on FOX. The announcers for the game are Greg Gumbel and Trent Green, with Jamie Erdahl working as the sideline reporter.
Later this week, we’ll have a look at the broadcast maps for this game, and who will be fortunate enough to watch it. More than likely it will be a fairly basic regional broadcast for Northern California, Reno, and the greater New York/New Jersey area.
But does it really deserve broadcast time on CBS? The NFL flexes games into and out of Sunday Night Football, and will bump games around the Sunday schedule. But how about getting creative with the scheduling for this monstrosity of a football game? One person offered up this suggestion.
#49ers vs #Jets has officially been flexed to PBS at 7:30 AM EST.

Maybe PBS bright and early makes sense. A 4:30 a.m. PT kickoff for these two teams might be fair. Here are some other suggestions.
Someone suggested Bert & Ernie for the broadcast booth.
@NinersNation @ChrisNFLDraft bert & ernie in the booth

And we had a couple other channel suggestions. What do you think is the appropriate channel for this game?
