I have also included the number of players under contract for 2017 as well as doing a calculation of the Average $$ amount available for the number of roster spots to be filled to get to the 53 man number (ie. available cap / # of slots to fill)
Remember, this doesn't show cuts in the offseason or allow for the PS cost or any other 'contingency'. It's just a base set of numbers to work with for those who are looking at FA and whether or not teams have enough $$$ to extend/ re-sign their own players who are due for FA.
