Good morning folks. I was expecting a break after the Super Bowl, but I forgot about the fact that NFL franchise tags are right around the corner and the NFL scouting combine is right after that. Things aren't going to completely slow down until June, though when it comes to the specifics of the San Francisco 49ers, there isn't a whole lot going on right now.
The first article I'm linking below is an explanation as to why Terrell Owens was not a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I'd like to point out, before I get to the links, that any information other than "you think he wasn't good enough" is completely farcical. It sounds like a lot of the voters were shielded by the "we went by the ex-coaches' opinions!" which is also farcical in itself because Owens' former coaches all said he should have made it into the Hall of Fame.
So basically, Hall of Fame voters are completely idiotic. There's no argument against Owens being in a Hall of Fame if it's based on merit, which apparently it isn't. Onto your links for the day.
