Somewhere between the completion of the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft is basically the deadest part of NFL related news which means that weird items about teams tend to crop up. Well if you've been around the 49ers for the past two seasons nearly every moment has been weird and especially disappointing. So now former 49ers offensive lineman gets to take advantage of the lull in NFL happenings and his thoughts about his ex-team's future gets top mention.
What it boils down too is he is just a fan now and like most Niners fans, he is quite skeptical of the team's prospects for returning to playoff prominence after the departure of one Jim Harbaugh. Randy is not pleased and is pointing the finger squarely at the top (that means you, Jed York). Many of you probably agree with his assessment, but whether his "prediction" on how long the "rebuild/reload" takes is difficult to process without having more information and seeing first hand the product that Chip Kelly puts on the field as 49ers head coach. This will be another interesting season coming up for us, but hopefully much much less disappointing than last.
