When I do Throwback Thursday/Flashback Friday, I usually try to have something nostalgic that can be [loosely] related to the week's news. Unfortunately, we are in February and news has started to become scarce, so now it lets me be a bit random and find cool stuff, or cool stuff that will be yanked off YouTube by next week.
But I'm out of cool stuff too.
Luckily, I did find something mildly amusing and disturbing at the same time. Something that gives you that same feeling of being electrocuted while watching the Seahawks or Cowboys getting brutally thumped on TV. Sure you're in excruciating pain, but you're still enjoying yourself and having a great Sunday despite the 1.21 jiggowatts running through your veins. You might be going to a hospital in a few minutes, but watching those guys stumble about, you'll be going to the ER with a smile on your face. You know, that kind of tension. It's Joe Montana and Ronnie Lott playing golf...and Ronnie gets the itch. The manly, masculine itch.
All brought to you by...uh...Tivo.
You know Tivo; the name that's synonymous with DVR, except all the cable companies (DirecTV, Comcast, etc) have nothing to do with Tivo technology and would love it if you used "DVR" to refer to your DVR instead of "Tivo."
Regardless of where any of this is in 2016, given the subject matter, I'm not sure if I should laugh, or demand 30 seconds of my life back. I'll let you decide.
