49ers hire assistant to Chip Kelly's coaching staff

The San Francisco 49ers have added another assistant coach to Chip Kelly's coaching staff. ESPN's Adam Caplan is reporting the team has hired J.P. Crowley Hanlon to serve as an "assistant to the coaching staff." He previously worked with the Philadelphia Eagles as logistics coordinator, and worked with Kelly in Oregon prior to that.

I don't know exactly what he did as "logistics coordinator" for the Philadelphia Eagles, but joining the 49ers in an assistant to the entire coaching staff job would seem to mean he does a little bit of everything that the staff needs. My guess is he will primarily take care of things for Kelly, but given that Kelly is bringing on some of his former Eagles (and Oregon) assistants, he will be another familiar face.
